The downward turn, in transmigration. Primal ignorance or unenlightenment [lang id =1028]無明acting against the primal, true, or Buddha-nature causes transmigration. The opposite is[lang id =1028]上轉 when the good prevails over the evil. [lang id =1028]下轉is sometimes used for [lang id =1028]下化 to save those below.
